Wax modelling workshop - Make your own silver studs

Join us at The Makers Table for a creative jewellery-making workshop with the talented Antonella, where you'll design and make your own unique pair of silver stud earrings.

Using jeweller's wax, you'll create your designs by imprinting and pressing textures into the surface, taking inspiration from a collection of natural treasures that Antonella will bring along. From delicate leaves and seed heads to shells, stones and other fascinating finds, you'll discover how nature can leave its mark in the most beautiful ways.

You will be given a prepared amount of wax to work with to ensure that your silver earrings remain within a particular weight bracket. 

Once complete, your designs will be professionally cast in silver, transforming your wax creations into a pair of wearable keepsakes that are uniquely yours.It will then be carefully cleaned and given a polished or matt finish according to your preference by Antonella before being beautifully gift wrapped for you to collect from us at Heart Gallery.

No previous experience is needed, just curiosity, creativity and a love of beautiful things.

This workshop is suitable for beginners. Participants must be age 18+ or 16+ if accompanied by an adult. 

In the beautiful setting at Heart Gallery you will be provided with a hot/cold drink and a sweet treat. There will also be an exclusive 10% discount on items purchased in the gallery on the night.
