Wax modelling workshop - Make your own silver ring

Join us at The Makers Table for a special jewellery-making experience with the wonderful Antonella.

Using the ancient technique of wax carving, you'll design and create your very own ring, ready to be professionally cast in silver. Drawing inspiration from a collection of natural treasures that Antonella will bring along, think seed pods, leaves, shells, stones and other beautiful found objects, you'll explore textures, patterns and forms from the natural world to create a truly unique piece.

You will be given a prepared amount of wax to work with to ensure that your silver ring remains within a particular weight bracket. 

Your design will be sent away and cast into silver. It will then be carefully cleaned and given a polished or matt finish according to your preference by Antonella before being beautifully gift wrapped for you to collect from us at Heart Gallery. 

Whether you're making a meaningful ring for yourself or crafting a special gift, Antonella will guide you through every step of the process in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

No previous experience is needed, just bring your creativity and enjoy learning a fascinating skill while creating something you'll treasure for years to come.

This workshop is suitable for beginners. Participants must be age 18+ or 16+ if accompanied by an adult.
