Pendant Wax modelling workshop 

Create your own special piece of jewellery for yourself or a loved one in this relaxed wax modelling workshop with local jeweller Antonella Giomarelli. 

Be inspired as you look through some of Antonella’s collected treasures such as shells, feathers, vintage buttons and dried wild flowers or bring along something sentimental and create your own story cast in silver. We will then explore imprinting into soft wax using these objects to create texture and imagery. 

You will be given a prepared amount of wax to work with to ensure that your silver pendant remains within a particular weight bracket and you will have the opportunity to mould soft wax into embellishments for your design such as granules and trimmings. We will then add bails to your design using soft wax wire so that they are ready to hang from a silver chain once cast. 

Your design will be sent away and cast into silver. It will then be carefully cleaned and given a polished or matt finish according to your preference by Antonella before being beautifully gift wrapped for you to collect from us at Heart Gallery. 

This workshop is suitable for beginners. Participants must be age 18+ or 16+ if accompanied by an adult. 

In the beautiful setting at Heart Gallery you will be provided with a hot/cold drink and a selection of Italian biscuits. There will also be an exclusive 10% discount on items purchased in the gallery on the night.
